Le Fournil (6 persons) was built centuries ago with the pink stone quarried in Préty. The former baking room is now part of a spacious living-room, with the ancient indoors bread oven, a nice fireplace and glass doors leading to the terrace in the courtyard. This 140m2 gîte can easily house six persons but it can also be very cosy for two and a romantic stay later in the season.
The kitchen-dining is a cosy room with a wood stove and a dining table seating eight; equipped with a television, a stove, a microwave, a dishwasher and all needed to prepare great meals. Most of the time though, the guests prefer to eat outside on the lovely terrace.
The three bedrooms on the first floor are nicely furnished; with parquet floors and gorgeous views over the park. The master bedroom has a 180 x 200 bed. The bathroom is equipped with a jacuzzi, a shower and a washbasin. Another bedroom has a 120 x 190 bed and a single bed; the third has a 140 x 195 bed. Another washbasin in a separate area has access to the shower.
Sheets and towels can be provided so the beds are made when you arrive. Also available, a washing-machine, children’s beds, highchairs, bicycles, even a child’s car, etc.. Smoking indoors is not allowed. The Fournil is quiet and private with a lot of charm, with antique furniture, fine decoration and subtle colours.
